History of Gryffe High School

Gryffe High School was opened on the 4th of June 1980 by Councillor James Irvine. Building work officially began in 1977 and the building was finished in December 1979 at the cost of £1.3 million. It was built by Wright Building for then Strathclyde Regional Council (now Renfrewshire Council).
