On Thursday 26 November Gryffe High School PTA held its annual Xmas Fayre on what was a blustery night. Despite the inclement weather it was a fantastic evening full of atmosphere and the buzz of Xmas shopping among the many excellent stalls on offer. The highlight of the evening was the Xmas raffle which was kindly drawn by Radio Clyde’s George Bowie.
The star prize was a table for four at the Hogmanay Candlelit Dinner with wine at the fantastic River Inn, kindly donated by Jason Andrews. This was won by Mrs.Janice Heggie ,who also scooped the second prize of a luxury M&S Xmas hamper! Alison Smith won third prize which was a Tea Hamper donated by Jenier Teas, Sonia Smith won a crate of locally brewed beer donated by the Fox & Hounds and Karen Telfer was delighted with her fifth prize of flowers donated by The Flower Pot of Johnstone.
The PTA would like to thank everyone who attended and those who participated in making it a superb evening which raised a magnificent £2037.
